I have the honour to report that,

with the advice of Executive Council, I have caused

Inspector H. J. Knight of the Sanitary Department to be

severely reprimanded and ordered that he should be reduced

in rank one step for six months with effect from the 19th.

ultimo.

In this connection I forward the

documents noted on the annexed schedule. The effect of

this decision is to inflict on Inspector Knight a fine of

$38.57 per mensen for 6 months.
